Respiratory Muscle Assessment

What is this test?: This test measures the strength of your breathing muscles.
Why is it performed?: It helps assess muscle weakness that may contribute to breathlessness.
How is it performed?: You will breathe in and out through a mouthpiece while performing several short breathing manoeuvres.
Before your test: No special preparation is usually required.
